Occupy Wall Street defines itself as a “leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that we are the 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%.” In response, MoveOn.org has proclaimed November 5th “Make Wall Street Pay” day.
As I watched MoveOn.org's video (here) my desire for change in our country’s systems grew, but I felt unmotivated and disconnected to the their style of communication. It may be fuel for someone, but energetically, it turns me off.
Using language and tactics that breed fear, hate and name-calling keeps negativity alive. As a voice for peace and healing, I feel called to give what I can in my own ways... but I sure would love for you to join me.
I propose that we Reiki the 1%

What if it encourages their most prickly emotions to soothe, their most afraid selves to become free and their highest, most light-filled souls to step in for better communication and decision-making? Now that's exciting to me!
For the next week, let’s get the Reiki train going to send love, prayers, blessings, compassion and understanding to all the people who are holding the majority of the money in this country. Focus our passion on making a difference by directing our energy toward peace. This is the kind of revolution that I want to see for humanity: energetic expansion and expression, release from duality and judgment and a coming together to become one whole 100% in harmony.
The shift within us is happening. It’s up to us if it’s comfortable and easy or unpleasant and difficult. The OWS movement has come up at just the right time to give us an opportunity to choose what kind of energetic environment we want. I choose peace and love: Reiki.
For those of you transferring banks on November 5th or at any time, remember to bring your heart to the entire transaction, excluding any judgment or anger against the bank workers. They need Reiki, too, during such an intense time.
