Getting Ready for Your Akashic Record Reading
How Should I Prepare for an Akashic Record Reading? Please have your questions ready prior to the reading. Putting thought into them beforehand will help you be more focused and get the answers you really seek. Additionally, writing down your questions is a very good idea. Please don’t send the questions to me prior to our appointment. Just ask them when it’s time. What Sorts of Questions Work Best? Keep in mind that predictive information about the future isn’t available (see the Akashic Record Readings page here for complete info). So, questions like “When will I find true love?” Aren’t going to yield what you’re looking for. Instead, you could approach the topic like this: “What is it that is holding me back from finding true love?” or “Why haven’t I found true love yet?” In general, questions that begin with what, how and why produce the answers with the greatest depth of information. Lots of people are curious about past lives. In my experience, the details that are shared about them are pertinent to a health problem, behavioral or emotional issue or relationships. If you have a desire to catalog your past lives, you might want to consider undergoing hypnotherapy. However, if you want to know why you feel the way you do about a certain person, | Comments: Over the phone: "I've had readings in the past and they tended to be vague and honestly, not very useful. These readings were not only specific, but they allow one to actively interact with the source and to fine tune questions giving a greater understanding of the situation as it related to the person as an individual. The information was lovingly given, useful, and absolutely spot on. Thank you, Michelle for this incredible service!" Rebecca, Woodland, WA |
what’s possibly behind a chronic health problem or why you can’t shake certain thoughts, the Akashic reading provides the answers that are available.
Are There Any Subjects that are Off-Limits?
Yes. You can’t find out about anyone but you. What you can get to is someone else within the context of the relationship you have with another. For example: “Why do we feel a certain way about each other or behave in specific ways?” Other people’s thoughts, motivations and emotions are unavailable because only your records are open and the records for other people cannot be opened without their approval. Children, generally speaking, can’t make fully informed decisions and as a result, don’t have their records read. People who are no longer alive also can’t provide their permission, nor can a pet.
How Do I Go About Changing or Nullifying a Contract?
For general information on contracts and why you'd want to change or nullify one please see the Readings: Akashic Record/Trance Mediumship page.
Once you've decided you'd like to ask to have a contract altered or canceled you can inquire if it's possible. The first step is to have it confirmed that a contract does exist. Then you can learn about the nature or function of the contract. Once it's been confirmed for you that the situation is one you want to change then you can ask if it's possible to do so and if it is what the options are. You may be able to play out the remainder of the contract on another dimension or level of consciousness or it might be possible for you to have the contract nullified and to continue to learn the lesson in a less painful or dramatic way. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want, but don't be attached to a specific outcome. You may not get your wish if it's not for your highest good.
How Many Questions Should I Count on for Different Amounts of Time?
The more specific and pointed the question is, the shorter the answer. Likewise, if you have multi-pointed or general questions the answers can be lengthy. Also, don’t forget that you may likely have questions that arise in response to the answers you receive so allow some time for them.
Generally speaking, for a 30 minute reading a good rule is to prepare less than 10 questions. For a 60 minute reading, have less than 20 questions. Ask your most important questions first.
